AN AUTHOR?
What's Life Like As
It's a lot. A lot of passion and projects all packed into free time and often exploding in a thousand different directions. Write like my hair is on fire one week---work on websites, format books and film videos? Check. Burn out and decide I can only design one cover the next week? Also, check.
But, to be honest, I wouldn't have it any other way. Following my passions has been the most rewarding thing I've ever done. There's an inner satisfaction that come from making the most out of this trip around the sun, and I am so glad to be here doing it. :)

"What's Your Favorite book you've written?"
I always tend to love the one I'm working on currently because it's my most recent work and, therefore, my best to-date at any particular time. ...But, if I had to name one, I'd say I'm pretty darn proud of my Dragon Spar series...so, yes, favorite. :)

"Do You have any author's Who have Inspired YOu?"
Oh jeez, yes. Tamara Pierce was my absolute favorite author growing up; something about girls kicking butt as knights got me, yep. & Meg Cabot taught me spunky writing is still good writing [a sigh of relief].

"Do You Design All The Artwork in your books?"
A majority of it, yes! ...Save the DS, Uncivil & Allies covers, I've actually designed all of the covers too. I love making chapter headings & artwork! Anything to make reading that much more fun!

"You Write In So many Genres. How does that work?"
...So, the inspiration comes, and I go. :) I write whatever comes to me. It makes it an adventure. I do find that I have similar themes of empowerment and finding the magic in yourself in all of my books.
