The Zonky World Of "Ya Author"

Howdy! My name's Keegan. I'm not from Texas (contrary to that introduction), and I'm the author of all the books on this website. I'm happy to have you here! Welcome!

This page is meant to give you a little background and a dive into my personality, just as the other pages explore my characters. Simply put, I'm an overachiever (sometimes an over-worker). I'm always a dreamer. I see the "funny" in everything and the glass half full even when it's smashed on the floor. I love nature. It restores me. And animals melt my heart. I need to write like I need to breathe, and that's just how it's always been.

Most of the time, I sign my books "YA Author". It's a nod to a joke. When I created my author website, I placed the words 'YA Author' in the top left-hand corner where I currently have my name. I was extremely excited about the site and showed it to my fiancé and his family.

 

They were all confused.

 

"Are you going by 'ya author'" they wanted to know. And I laughed. I thought everyone knew YA stands for 'Young Adult'. Apparently not. So, I'm "ya author" now...which basically makes me a rapper. Kind of. ;P
